i started sanded the section where the tube would connect to. Now, i took the cardboard tube and put some sandpaper around it.From there, i took sandpaper and sanded off the edges (pic 2 + pic 3).From there, i wanted the fender to be thick, but not heavy, so i chose foam board.I sketched this out on some paper and laid it underneath the top portion of the suit for sizing. Replace pad into your shoe so that your foot is not directly on the screws. I used 3 screws for the front of the shoe and 4 for the back piece. Take your screws and drill inside the shoe directly into the wood. At this point, take out the pad inside the shoe. Due to the notion that the two pieces of wood are on either side of the cut in the shoe sole, your robot foot should naturally bend when you walk, (pic 6) 7. (pic 4) 5.Place your shoe on the two pieces so that the “cut” of the shoe sole is right in between the two pieces of wood. (pic 3) 4. Take 4 slender pieces of wood ( about 1 inch thick, and however long your two pieces are)and drill them underneath so that you are even more elevated. Now, get your 2x4 and use a saw (or get it cut) into the following 2 shapes. This is because when you walk, your shoe needs to “give” a bit so that it can bend while walking. The easiest way I found out is to bend your foot forward a bit with the shoe on, and that way you can see where the shoe naturally bends. Then, take your exacto knife and cut across the width of foot sole where the ball of your foot is. Cut further along the tongue of the shoe, because you need to be able to get a drill all the way to the toe part of the shoe. it is good to use low tops for these shoes. And look at Rodimus' hands compared to Prime!1.Take your shoes and remove the laces (save laces for later). Is there a reason why Rodimus and Galvatron are noticeably taller and larger than their predecessors? Galvatron is huge compared to Megatron, especially in the legs. I don't think I'm going to be transforming him to tank mode again anyway
HOT ROD RODIMUS PRIME UPGRADE
I'd buy an upgrade kit for him if it increased his height by giving his feet a lift, but I don't think anyone makes a kit specifically for the feet. Much too small (but thankfully, not as short as Scourge). I still think Optimus looks slightly shorter, but, I think you hit the nail on the head about Megatron.

I got a look at some of the other figures with Rodimus and he scales pretty well with them. Galvatron's size would've worked better.īut honestly, I consider all voyagers and leader sized wfc figures to be just a bit too short. I don't know how Megatron fares against siege Optimus, but compared to ER Optimus I definitely feel Megatron is too short.

Of course, this does make him too big since he should be the same size (and Cyclonus should be bigger), but it's not really an issue.Īctually, I'd argue that Megatron is too small. Galvatron's size…I've got wfc Rodimus and Galvatron on my desk and Galvatron's about a head taller. I have to say that although I always hate the look of articulated hands on (MP) toys because they appear too big, having Rodimus in hand I'm not bothered. This is done so he can hold the Matrix to mimick that scene from the movie/cartoon, or point his "end of the road" finger. Rodimus is the same size as Optimus (maybe a hair smaller?) but his hands are indeed larger.
